November Exhibition: Lauren Gero - To the Trees

A new exhibition and collection of work by Blue Mountains artist Lauren Gero. The 12 artworks feature in the latest To The Trees 2024 calendar - the artworks are created with many layers and textures and it’s special to see the original pieces up close in this exhibition. 

The artworks explore the seasons and how we as humans interact with nature and each other throughout the year. Highlighting opportunities to engage with nature through foraging, eating seasonally and camping as well as sharing and supporting community through Mardi Gras, porch singalongs and fireside chats. 

Collaged works created using hand painted textures of watercolour, acrylic and gouache. Finer details added with coloured pencil and crayon.
