What you’ll need

Navel oranges (about 4-5)

Knife

Paper towel

Cutting board

Cookie sheets

Parchment paper

String or twine

Instructions

1. Preheat the over to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Cut the oranges at about .25" thickness.

3. Pat the orange slices dry with a paper towel to help them dry faster.

4. Line the baking sheets with parchment paper and lay out the orange slices.

5. Bake the orange slices for 2 hours on one side, then flip them and bake for another 2 hours. Be sure to check them every 15-20 minutes during the last hour to make sure they don't burn. Flip as needed.

6. Remove the orange slices from the oven when they are slightly golden brown and dry.

7. String the oranges together by poking the string through the fibrous part of the fruit.
