Native Baubles

What you’ll need 

Foraged native flora - pine cones or banksias 

Acrylic paint 

Paint brush 

Water in a jar 

Twine

Instructions

Head out for a walk with the kids and forage for some pine cones or banksias.

Once home, cover a flat surface with an old towel or cardboard.

Squeeze out some paint on the cardboard or a painting palette and wet your paint brush.

Paint your natives any colour you want! You can add glitter or small pom poms !

Wrap some twine around the middle of the pine cone and tie a double knot. Leave some length to create a loop so that you can hang it on a branch.

Have fun and enjoy creating something magical to put on your tree!
