July Exhibition: Anna Harpley

In her exhibition, FIREFLOWER, Anna Harpley draws on imagery of magical plants growing in the Mountains of the Sun, as described in the writings of  C S Lewis, the dew from which proffer miraculous cure.

These dancing figures of colour and movement act as mandalas or focal points that evoke the beauty and therapeutic qualities of the natural world, with their golden orbs implying the innate sacredness of plants.
