RECIPE: Unleavened Seed Crackers

Are you like us and love a good cracker but hate how store bought ones come wrapped in so much plastic. Why not make your own at home?

UNLEAVENED SEED CRACKERS

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup sun flower seeds

  • 1/3 cup pumpkin seeds (pepitas)

  • 1/3 cup seseme seeds

  • 1/3 cup flaxseeds

  • 2/3 cup quick oats

  • 2 cups spelt flour

  • 1.5 tsp salt

  • 2/3 cup olive oil

  • 1 cup water

Method:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, it should be sticky
Take half the mixture and roll it out to fit a baking tray
Score the shape of the crackers with a knife before baking to make snapping them easier
Bake in a 200 degree oven for 15-20 mins

Keeps for 2 weeks.
